Where in Australia are you Deborah? In Townsville we had great luck with Gary from Northern House Raising. He did our house and quite a few others around us in West End, Townsville. You can get the contact details for Northern House Raising here. If you are outside of Townsville you might want to consider a service like Home Improvement Pages (aff) to find a local house raising crew to do your house lift.

Hi Bill,

I am considering the same option instead of building up a story rather lifting the house and building under. If you find a good contractor I’d love to hear.
